Ingredients
- 1 cup Ragi /finger millet flour
- 1tbsp Besan/chickpea flour/gram flour
- 2tsp Plain butter (@ room temperature )
- 1tsp Black thil/sesame seeds
- Salt to taste
- oil for deep frying
- Mix ragi, besan and salt to taste.
- Add butter to the flour mixture and mix it well with your finger tips.
- Now add enough water to make hard dough and keep aside for 10 -15 mins
- Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying.
- Take a murukku press and stuff it with this dough and when oil is hot enough press little murukkus at a time and fry till crisp and dark.
- Let it cool down completely before storing in an airtight container.
